Research & Development Overview

Shanghai Tongren Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Research Institute has a time-honored history and it is China’s first veterinary drug manufacturing enterprise. The institute has been committed to studying veterinary drugs since the early founding of People’s Republic of China in the last century. It has successfully developed injection series, veterinary vitamin premix series and other series of products. It has also participated in the formulation of China’s “Veterinary Drugs Standard” and acquired various new national Class-II veterinary certificates such as Ivermectin raw materials and preparations, Diclazuril raw materials and preparations, Sarafloxacin raw materials and preparations, etc. Ushering in the new century, Shanghai Tongren Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Research Institute stands ready to look to the future, with the principle of preventing animal diseases, improving feeding efficiency, and leading scientific breeding. The institute will surely conduct further independent research and development work in fields of chemical medicine synthesis, chemical agents, animal nutrition, and pet medication.

R&D team

We currently have more than 20 researchers, among whom 5 are master degree holders or doctoral degree holders. Our professional areas involve chemistry, biology, medicine, pharmacology, analysis and other fields, and we have been cooperating with universities such as Agricultural University of China, Huazhong Agricultural University, and South China Agricultural University.
